Recyclable, Bifunctional Metallaphotocatalysts for C− S Cross‐Coupling Reactions
Metallaphotocatalytic cross-coupling reactions typically involve combining soluble nickel complexes with photocatalysts, either homogeneous or heterogeneous. Our approach introduces bifunctional materials based on semiconductors for recyclable metallaphotocatalytic C−S cross-coupling reactions. These materials feature a nickel complex permanently immobilized on the semiconductor surface using phosphonic acid anchors. The catalyst efficiently utilizes a broad spectrum of visible light with a nickel loading of approximately 0.1 mol %.
